Hello, welcome to our beautiful island of Grenada, the Isle of Spice; one of the several volcanic islands of the Caribbean. The rich soil produces some of the most exotic flowers in the world. Every spice known to man grows here and with it’s many beaches, this little isle of only 100 sq miles seems just like heaven on earth.

Pastor Adrian Banfield has been transferred from (PAOC) Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada into (PAWI) Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies, July 2000. He was installed at Calliste Pentecostal Church December 24, 2000. Under his leadership the name was changed to Gateway Assembly. Under the new name the pastor led this Assembly into a building program.

A seed was planted. This seed sprouted, took root, matured, blossomed and in the process of time, produced its own fruits, which in turn gave rise to its own seeds. Thus started the saga of the Calliste Pentecostal Church.

We provide pastoral counseling services and spiritual direction free of charge for those in need of these services. Sessions are held at the church (or can be arranged off site) with sessions lasting from 50-60 minutes.

Gateway Academy

At the G.C.A, we utilize the A.C.E (Accelerated Christian Education) program for the school of Tomorrow. This is a very traditional approach to learning which focuses on the individual student’s learning ability. With A.C.E, students first master one basic skill at a time before moving onto another.
